Currently in a semi-finished state after recovering her from near Gloucester about 8 years ago she had been dragged under by a tree and was due to go to the scrap yard. bulkheads and galley seat is built and most glass repairs complete.

1971 Norman 23 which I've been sort of rebuilding for the last 9 years, I bought it for a pound and saved it from the crusher in 2001 after it was written off by an insurance company after it got dragged down the Severn near Worcester by a tree and went under.  Her name was "Water Gypsy"
 
I had to completely gut the boat and have repaired most of the fibreglass including converting the transom from an outboard box so I can fit a stern drive or prop shaft to the 1.8 turbo diesel.  I've built and installed the front cabin frame work and galley seat, just haven't had the time to do anymore recently.
 
Great to see the site develop, I did some research on the web when I first got her and there wasn't much info and have found out much since registering, I've now got renewed enthusiasm to get her finished!
